How do I know if the J503 jump starter is correctly connected to the vehicle?

The indicator on the jumper cable will show a steady green “READY” when the battery clamps are correctly connected to the vehicle battery.
If there are problems such as red and green lights flashing alternately, or steady red light coming on and the unit beeping, the device may be connected incorrectly, so please take care to adjust it according to the instructions.

What are the recommended operating and storage temperatures?

We recommend that the J503 jump starter be operated and stored at temperatures from -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F). Prolonged use or storage of the product in ambient temperatures above 140°F (60°C) is not recommended as this will damage the product's lithium-Ion battery, causing it to swell or fail.

How do you maintain a portable jump starter?

1. Always Keep Your Jump Starter Battery Charged(More than 80% charge).
2. Charge the J503 jump starter once every three months.
3. Store your jump starter at a moderate temperature. i.e., 20°C to 60°C.
4. Disconnect Your Jump Starter Once You Are Done.

What kind of jumpstart should I choose for my vehicle?

We recommend that you choose a jump starter based on the displacement of your vehicle.The bigger the engine, the higher the starting or cranking Amps number should be. For small to medium-sized vehicles with gasoline engines up to 7.0 liters, we recommend a compact emergency starter with a starting current of 1000A or more. For larger vehicles or heavy-duty vehicles we recommend the J503 jump starter, with a peak starting current of up to 6000A, jump start your vehicle instantly. In addition, the J503 jump starter unit has a boost function, which allows it to start your vehicle quickly even when the battery is nearly or completely dead. This is another reason why the J503 jump starter has an advantage over its competitors.

Can the J503 jump starter a 6V vehicle?

No. J503 jump starter is only designed for 12V vehicles. Jump-starting a 6V battery could become extremely dangerous.

How to connect jump starter to car battery?

1. Turn the car off and remove the keys from the ignition.
2. Connect the RED positive cable to the positive terminal on the battery.
3. Connect the BLACK negative cable to the engine block or a non-conductive piece of metal in your car.
NOTE: When the engine is not connected to the battery, the cable clip does not support the reverse connection protection. If you remove the power cord from the car battery, do not connect it in reverse when starting the car.

What do I need to be aware of when using the BOOST function?

The BOOST function is a forced start function, which is rarely used. When your vehicle does not start successfully after using the regular starting steps, then you can turn on the forced start function by pressing and holding the BOOST button for 7 seconds after connecting the vehicle battery.
*Please note that it is prohibited to reverse or short-circuit the clips during the use of the BOOST function. For your safety, do not touch the metal part of the clips while using this function and it is better to use it with gloves to avoid electric shock.

What battery does the AUXITO J503 Jump Starter use?

This unit uses a 74 Watt-Hour Lithium-Ion battery.

Does it have an auto-off feature in case it’s left on or accidentally turned on?

YES. The AUXITO J503 jump starter will automatically turn off in 1 minute if it doesn’t detect any use.
Note: J503 has timeout output protection. After connecting the car correctly, no start action has been performed, and the output is automatically disconnected after the clip conducts for about 45s, and the red light is always on.
However, we recommend that you disconnect from the vehicle's battery after using the starting co-energy to prolong the life of the battery.

Is the internal battery of the product replaceable?

The internal battery of the jump starter is NOT replaceable.

How long does it take to charge the jump starter with the PD60W charger?

60W Speed Charge delivers you 3x faster-charging experience. It takes about 2H to fill the charge for the J503 jump starter. However, the normal 18W charger will take 6~7 hours to fully charge the device.

How do jump starters work?

Portable jump starters come with their own internal battery. They’re designed to provide a high current for a short amount of time, just like your car’s starting battery.
But NOTE that they won’t charge your battery. They are designed only to provide the high current a car needs for starting.

What's the difference between a jump starter and a charger?

While both devices are designed to help when your vehicle is low on battery and won't start, their purposes and functions are different. The jump starter mainly provides the instant power needed to start the vehicle, but it cannot be connected to the vehicle battery for a long time. I received the lithium car jump starter. Substantial weight to it. Haven't used it yet but, if it's as good as all the LED bulbs I've bought from AUXITO before. I have no fear that the jump pack will work when needed.
