Is H13 high beam or low beam?

H13 LED bulbs are dual beam bulbs, they are two filaments, which allows them to create two beams (high and low) when both are activated. 9008 is the same as the H13 bulb. The two designations refer to the same dual-filament halogen headlight bulb, and they are interchangeable in terms of fit and function.

What is the brightest H13 LED bulb?

AUXITO Y19 series H13 LED bulb is the brightest H13 LED bulb. These bulbs are 700% brighter than halogen bulbs with a total light output of 120W and 24000LM per set. They are designed with 12 highly bright CSP LED chips in each bulb, providing cool white 6500K light.

Do I need a ballast to install the H13 LED?

No, you don’t. H13 LED bulbs typically do not require a ballast for installation. Unlike high-intensity discharge (HID) bulbs, which often require a ballast to regulate the voltage and current, LED bulbs are designed to work with the standard 12V DC electrical systems found in most vehicles without the need for a separate ballast.

How to install H13 LED headlight bulbs?

1. Press the connector's knob to disconnect the connector and bulb. Then unscrew the old bulb counterclockwise;
2. Unscrew the heat dissipation ring on the new H13 LED bulb clockwise, and then twist it clockwise to fix it to the vehicle's lampshade;
3. Align the H13 LED with the locking groove of the heat dissipation ring, press in the LED and screw it clockwise until the bulb is perpendicular to the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock directions;
4. Finally, you can see that after the installation is completed, the LED radiator is super upward! Insert the connector and replace the dust cap to complete the installation. (Note: Don’t forget to test whether the H13 high and low beams can work properly after installation!)

If your headlights have serious flicker problems after upgrading from halogen lights to H13 LEDs, you can add an H13 decoder to solve it.
