Yes. LED reverse lights are one of the most popular upgrades for the rear of an aftermarket vehicle as they simultaneously improve the rear lighting output and increase the appearance of the vehicle.

Is a back up light the same as a reverse light?

Reverse lights are also called backup lights. They are used to warn other vehicles and people around the car that the vehicle is about to move backward. The reverse lights also provide some illumination when the car is backing up.

What color are backup reverse lights?

White. It is generally white to differentiate it from red tail lights. It illuminates whenever a vehicle is about to move backward.

Should a car have 2 reverse lights?

Not all cars have two reversing lights. It might be mandated in some territories but it definitely isn't required in the EU, UK, Japan, or USA. A car must have at least one reverse light, the lights must illuminate when a car is in the "Reverse" gear, the lights must burn steadily and the lights can never come on while the car is moving forward. Having 2 lights gives you redundancy should one bulb fail, making the signal more obvious. Symmetry looks better and makes regionalization easier.

Do LED reverse lights need a resistor?

Whether an LED light requires a resistor depends on your car model and LED light. If your LED reflector light flashes or jitters rapidly, you may need a resistor. Load resistors can help prevent this issue. If you purchase a light bulb with a built-in decoder, no additional decoder is required.

Why aren't my reverse lights working?

1. Check the light bulb: If the reversing light does not work, it may be that the light bulb is burned out. In this case, a new reversing light bulb needs to be replaced.

2. Check the fuse related to the reversing light: a broken fuse will also cause the bulb to not work properly.

3. Check whether the switch is properly connected: a loose or damaged switch may cause the bulb to go out.

4. Check the reversing light sensor: Vehicles equipped with reversing light sensors may malfunction, affecting the operation of the reversing lights. It needs to be repaired and replaced in time.

5. Check the wiring connecting the reversing lights: The connectors and wires connected to the backup lights may be damaged and aged and must be repaired in time to avoid affecting daily travel.

Suppose the above methods cannot solve your back-up light bulb operation problem. In that case, it is recommended to consult a professional car repairman to conduct a fault inspection to find out the specific cause of the problem and repair it.

What a difference !

5 minute upgrade

Definitely recommend the product. Package got to me in 24hrs (yes actually) and came as described. The process itself took me 5 minutes total to do both sides. No tools were needed - you just go thru the wheel well and push the bottom tab to pop out the existing side markers. They almost blend in perfectly with my plastics and provide a more sleek look I’m going for. The white running light perfectly matches my white day time running lights in my headlight assembly. Can’t beat it for the price

Replaced the OEM HID bulbs with the LEDs. I was nervous about the fit and especially about the Canbus system causing flickering issues.
These lights fit perfectly and NO flickering issues ! Sharp cut off line with the oem headlight housings and very clear, white light. Nice output far exceeds the oem HID bulbs.
Even the oem back weather protection covers fit back in place over the ballasts. I will update the review if I need to remove the back covers due to insufficient cooling.
Highly recommended upgrade over the oem hids.
