Can I just replace the halogen bulbs in my headlights directly with LED bulbs?

Yes. The AUXITO LED headlight bulbs are designed for plug-and-play installation and have the same dimensions as the original halogen bulbs, which ensures that they can be directly installed into the existing headlight socket without the need for any modifications to the vehicle's wiring or headlight housing. However, please note that select the proper LED headlight bulb size for your vehicle, LED bulbs that are different from the original halogen model will not fit your vehicle's headlight assembly.

How do I upgrade my headlight halogen bulbs to LED bulbs?

Please refer to the following brief steps:

1. Find your headlight bulb size through AUXITO Filters or your model's owner's manual.

2. Choose and buy the LED headlight bulb according to the brightness, color temperature, and other characteristics you are looking for.

3. Find the headlight bulb you need to replace (low beam or high beam or dual filament bulb with low beam and high beam) and remove the halogen bulb.

4. Insert the LED bulb and lock it in the headlight assembly, making sure the bulb is energized.

5. Test the bulb for proper operation

What are the advantages of LED headlight bulbs over halogen?

One of the major advantages of LED headlights over traditional halogens is that they are much brighter than halogens and consume less power. They are approximately 90% more efficient than traditional halogen bulbs, this lowers the strain on the car's electrical system which in turn can improve fuel economy. Additionally, their response faster ensures enhanced visibility at night, promoting road safety.

Should I replace my headlights in pairs?

Yes, whether you have halogen or LED bulbs in your headlights, we recommend replacing your headlight bulbs in pairs. Typically, headlight bulbs have the same lifespan, so when one bulb breaks and needs to be replaced, it also means that the other bulb is reaching the end of its life. On the other hand, LED headlight bulbs can dim up to 20-30% over time, so if you only replace one bulb, you may end up with one brighter headlight and one dimmer headlight, which does impact your visibility and field of vision while driving."

Do LED headlight bulbs cause glare?

We understand that a percentage of people are bothered by glare from their vehicle's headlights, which can jeopardize road safety.

Headlight glare is caused by a variety of factors, including improperly aimed headlights, aged-hazy headlight lenses, incorrect LED bulb installation, poor quality LED bulbs, and other factors. Therefore, when choosing LED headlight bulbs, you need to pay attention to the LED bulb chip and chip position design to ensure that the headlight assembly reflector can reflect the light source at the same angle. AUXITO products have been quality tested and the wick highly mimics the original halogen lamp wick position, ultra-thin base plate can ensure 360 ° light output, designed to eliminate dangerous glare when installed properly by focusing light where you need it on the road rather than in the eyes of oncoming traffic.

I'm having problems with light scattering after installation, what should I do about it?

For some vehicles, if they can't be in the 3 o'clock 9 o'clock position, the light output would be askew or scattered, so we recommend that the LED chips should be in the 3 o'clock 9 o'clock position. But if the light is normal and bright after you install it, then it doesn't matter even if it isn't in the 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock position. So after installing the bulb, you can try to adjust the angle of the bulb several times to choose the best light output pattern.

My headlight beams are too high, how do I adjust them?

If your headlight beams are too high or too low, you need to adjust them promptly because too high headlight beams can blind oncoming drivers and too low headlight beams affect your forward visibility, both of which may cause night traffic accidents.

The following simple adjustment steps:

1. Park your car on level ground, facing a perfectly vertical wall.

2. Use tape to mark the height of the brightest center point of the headlamps

3. Back your car exactly 25 ft (7.6 m) from the wall.

4. Check that the brightest beam of the headlight is at the position marked by the tape. If it is higher than the marked position, the beam needs to be lowered; if it is too far below the marked position, the beam needs to be raised.

5. Use a screwdriver to turn the adjusting screw or adjusting bolt at the headlight assembly to adjust.

6. test the lights

Are AUXITO's LED headlight bulbs a CANbus ready design?

All series of AUXITO's LED headlight bulbs for vehicular applications are CANbus ready designs (except for the GF series H7 LED bulb), compatible with 99% of vehicles without errors.

I have a problem with flickering and dashboard reporting errors after installing LED headlight bulbs, how do I fix it?

While these LED headlight bulbs are Canbus error free for most vehicles, they may not be compatible with Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, etc extremely sensitive vehicles. This is a problem faced by all LED manufacturers, not just AUXITO. You can solve this by trying to add an AUXITO Plug & Play resistor decoder, note to choose a decoder that is specific to the model of the LED headlight bulb.

Will LED headlight bulbs run too hot and burn up my car?

No. LED headlight bulbs operate at much lower temperatures than halogen bulbs, so they won't burn out headlight assemblies or other parts. AUXITO's LED headlight bulbs are designed with a full-body aluminum build to dissipate heat efficiently. In addition, most AUXITO LED bulbs are equipped with a high-speed cooling fan, so that even high-brightness, high-power bulbs can be cooled quickly during operation to ensure optimal output.

Note that if the headlamp housing is made of inferior materials, the excessive heat generated by the LED headlight bulb may melt the headlamp housing or damage other nearby components, and halogen bulbs and HID bulbs can have the same result.

What is the brightest headlight bulb?

The brightest LED headlight bulb AUXITO currently sells is the Y19 series, 24,000 LM/pair.

What types of beams are available for LED headlights?

You can find two beam types of LED headlights on the market: dual-beam bulbs and single-beam bulbs.

● Dual beam bulbs

Dual-beam headlight bulbs have a dual function that produces a dual-beam pattern: one bulb creates both low and high beams in a single headlight bulb. The bulb can be switched from high to low when turned on.
Dual beam bulbs are available in H4, H13, 9004 and 9007 sizes.

● Single Beam Bulbs

Single-beam headlight bulbs have a single function, so they can produce only a single beam pattern: high beam or low beam. However, they can be designed to function as high beams and low beams depending on the shutter/cutoff housing design of the headlight assembly.
Single beam bulbs are available in sizes H1, H7, H11, 9005, 9006, 9012, and more.

Can I still put the dust cover on after installing these LED headlight bulbs?

This depends on whether your vehicle has enough space for the headlight assembly. If the installation space is small and a dust cover is necessary, we recommend the mini size Y13 series and M3 series, which, despite their fan design, are similar in size to the original halogen lamps, and rarely run out of space after installation and can be perfectly put the dust cover back.

If you want to opt for other series of LED headlight bulbs, such as the Y19 series and Q16 series, then you will need to make sure that you have enough space before purchasing. An easier way to do this is to check the details page of the product you want for the size of the LED bulb compared to the halogen light.

Do I need an adapter to install LED headlight bulbs?

All LED bulbs sold by AUXITO are plug and play and do not require an adapter for installation.
However, for the installation of LED headlight bulbs such as Y13 series H7, M3 series H7, and M3 series H1 in some special vehicles, chuck mounting may be required. Please feel free to contact our customer service if you need the chuck during installation.
