Overview

The knock sensor listens to the engine block and tells the engine control unit when combustion is no longer clean. When it stops reporting correctly, the ECU loses that input, which is often what stands behind a check engine light, a pinging sound under load, or a noticeable drop in power and fuel economy. This AUXITO sensor replaces the original unit and restores that signal.
